I recommend that the physician occasionally has a friend or relative call the office for an appointment. See how it is handled. Is the receptionist courteous? Dismissive? Is that person put on hold for too long? Remember, that this phone call is the patient’s initial interaction with your office. You do not get a second chance to make a first impression!
